Konecranes offers a wide range of solutions for paper mills, from low capacity maintenance cranes to sophisticated automated systems designed for paper reel storage and retrieval which can easily double the amount of available space. We design load handling equipment for every task, including rotating spreader beams, log grabs, and paper reel vacuum lifters.

The maintenance service network of Konecranes is the largest in the world and provides a full range of services. We provide paper mill cranes with a Safe Working Monitor (SWM) which collects data from the crane operations. This enables us to program required maintenance stops according to actual crane use and tailor maintenance programs to production.
