Awards for Safety Excellence, 2004

In June 2005, the U.S. National Safety Council (NSC) presented the 2004 "Green Cross For Safety Excellence" and "Fleet Division Leader" awards to Konecranes Americas. Konecranes Americas recorded injury rates approximately 65% below the industry average in the "Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail Systems" category. Konecranes was also recognized for having the lowest reported vehicle accident rate in the "Truck Division, Other Service Vehicles Category" in the 501+ vehicles group.

Crane Pro Services Among Top 500 U.S. Employers, 2001

Konecranes Americas service operation, Crane Pro Services, was ranked among the 500 finest employers in the USA in August 2001. More than 10,000 companies were examined in a survey investigating criteria such as company policy for human resources development and healthcare. In addition, the survey looked at the company's business performance in terms of sales growth. The ranking is based on 30 surveys conducted by BestJobsUSA.com.
